Our Process For Fixing Your Back

Stop avoiding it

Avoiding movement often leads to more weakness and stiffness over time.

Instead, we help you start at a completely pain-free level—no matter how basic that needs to be.

And if everything feels painful right now, that’s exactly where we come in—to help you find a safe starting point

Strengthen the back directly

Your lower back may feel sensitive right now—but that doesn’t mean it can’t get stronger.

We start with movements that feel safe and manageable, helping you build evidence that your body can handle exercise again.

From there, we gradually increase the range of motion and difficulty over time.

Support the back

The low back is often a key part of the issue—but it’s rarely the only factor.

That’s why we also address tightness and weakness in the hips, upper back, and surrounding muscles.

By improving these areas, we take pressure off your back so it can function and recover more effectively.

What others are saying

– Jim Baustian

I started training with Ryleigh just after he opened Freedom Center, and I couldn’t be happier with my results. In just six months, I’ve improved mobility and endurance, I’m much stronger, and I look better! When I first came to see Ryleigh in October 2025, I hadn’t trained in about a year and was showing some age-related lack of mobility; my hips would hurt climbing stairs and even pop sometimes. And I really wanted to lose some flab and build back muscle.

– Cody Canales

Training with Coach Ryleigh has been one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. I started with him at the end of September 2025, and I was lucky enough to be his first client in his new space. I came to Ryleigh without ever having built a solid physical foundation. I constantly felt injury-prone and was dealing with lingering issues that held me back. Instead of rushing the process, he met me exactly where I was.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will this training help me even if I don’t have any current pain or injuries?

Absolutely—and in many ways, that’s the best time to start.

It’s far easier to prevent injuries than to rehab them. ATG training helps you build stronger, more mobile, and more resilient joints so you can stay active and avoid setbacks.

On top of that, many clients notice improvements in strength, speed, and overall performance as a result.

Can this help if I currently have pain or a previous injury?

Yes—this is exactly what many of our clients come in for.

We regularly work with people dealing with back pain, knee pain, ankle injuries, shoulder stiffness, and tight hips.

The goal is to gradually strengthen your joints and improve mobility so your body becomes more resilient over time.

And most importantly—we never train through pain. Every exercise is scalable, so you can start at a level that feels comfortable and progress safely from there.

What happens during the free mobility assessment?

We start by going over your injury history, current situation, and future goals so I fully understand where you’ve been, where you are, and where you want to go.

From there, we’ll walk through a few simple mobility and strength tests to see how your body moves.

This helps identify any weak links or limitations that could be contributing to pain, stiffness, or recurring injuries.

By the end, you’ll have a clear understanding of what’s going on and what the next steps would look like to help you move and feel better.

What makes ATG-style training different?

ATG (Athletic Truth Group) training focuses on building strength through full ranges of motion.

It’s not just stretching—where you may feel more flexible but still weak.

And it’s not just traditional strength training—where you may get stronger but still feel tight or restricted.

Instead, it combines the best of both.

Rather than avoiding weak or uncomfortable positions, we gradually strengthen them so your body becomes more capable, more mobile, and more resilient.
